2011 Mustang Performance Parts & Accessories

The 2011 Mustang GT has the new Coyote 5.0 engine with 412 horsepower. It is a completely new engine with dual overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder. The Coyote 5.0 features the Ti-VCT variable camshaft timing that provide 50 degrees of adjustment of both the intake and exhaust camshafts. The New Coyote 5.0 in the 2011 Mustang GT has aluminum  heads and block to save weight and improve the front to rear weight balance. The 2011 Mustang GT is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.

The 2011 Mustang V6 3.7L DOHC makes 305 horsepower. Like the Coyote 5.0 V8, the new 3.7L V6 also has the Ti-VCT (Twin-Independent Variable Cam Timing) and dual exhaust. The 2011 Mustang V6 is also available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions.

Like the 2010 Mustang, preliminary findings indicate that most (but not all) suspension components designed for the 2005 to 2009 Mustang will work on the 2010 and 2011 Mustangs. As more information and parts become available for the 2011 Mustang, I will add it here.
