Some Typhoon Air Intakes are not legal for use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. This intake fits the 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 Acura RSX Type S (only) as well as the 2002 2003 2004 2005 Honda Civic Si. Will not fit "standard" model RSX or Civics, there are different part numbers available for those applications.

K&N's 69-1009 was designed for the 2002 to 2006 Acura RSX Type-S. Testing shows these air intake kits with a gain of 10.4 horsepower @ 7024 RPM.

The 2002 to 2005 Honda Civic Si 2.0L engine has the 69-1009 air intake available. Tests show horsepower gains of 10.4 HP @ 7024 RPM.

Available in polished aluminum or textured, wrinkled red finish.
