This high performance mount provides a difference in stability of the car when accelerating and braking hard. Gear changing under hard acceleration is also enhanced. The stock mount contains soft bushings to eliminate vibrations. The downside to this is it allows the engine to move excessively on hard acceleration and hard braking. The VF-Engineering Engine Mount is a beautifully machined piece with high durometer polyurethane inserts. Can be easily installed in 10-15 minutes. Some enthusiasts will install this part and keep their stock mount with the stock bushings intact. That way they can change the mount as conditions dictate.
